The Iconia Tab 10 (A3-A30) and the Acer Iconia One 8 (B1-820) are the latest gadgets that the company is set to launch in the upcoming months; both devices are designed to cater to different segments.

There seems to be no stopping Acer after the company confirmed that it would launch two more tablets in the near future, having announced the predator gaming series only last week. The announcement came in after company officials disclosed the company’s upcoming projects at a press conference in New York.

The Iconia Tab 10 (A3-A30) and the Acer Iconia One 8 (B1-820) are the latest gadgets that the company is set to launch in the upcoming months; both devices are designed to cater to different segments.

Iconia One 8 is a rather budget-oriented tablet, with an 8-inch screen and 9.5mm thickness. With 1280 x 800 pixel resolution on offer, and it should be good enough to serve as a low-priced tablet. On the back-end of the device is a quad-core Intel Atom processor, although specific details regarding the RAM that the device offers is yet to be disclosed by the company; with a quad-core in the running, it should be adequate to help you get through most of your work, particularly compared to other low-priced tablets.

Android 5.0 Lollipop is sure to be the operating system running the gadget, while the company is yet to confirm the built-in storage of the device; it is likely to settle for 16GB, or 32GB, at the highest. Likewise, the battery hasn’t been spoken about much, apart from the fact that it is designed to offer you nothing more than 9 hours of battery time.

On the other hand, the Iconia Tab 10 is designed with the focus on one precise element: education. While this may come as a surprise to many, the education factor is a real step forward, particularly with the device being lined up to join the Google Education ecosystem.

The tablet’s screen is just over 10 inches, quite like the name suggests. Tab 10 offers a higher resolution, like you would expect, standing in at 1920 x 1200 pixels. The Android Lollipop 5.0 is sure to feature on the device, alongside 2GB worth of RAM. The storage space seems to have been enhanced as well, with the device expected to offer 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB worth of internal storage space. Working to help carry out the operation smoothly is a quad-core Intel Atom processor.

As for the price tag, and the availability of the duo, the Iconia One 8, is expected to land in the United States and Canada in July, with a $145 price-tag and a wide variety of colors. On the other hand, the Tab 10 will land in the United States, and Canada next month, and is expected to carry a $299 price tag along with a protective film, a stylus, a bumper case, a wireless keyboard dock, and a protective sleeve.
