BlackBerry Priv Makes Its Debut In The Italian Market

The once fastest growing company is again gaining momentum, thanks to its latest device.

Blackberry Priv and took over the world with a storm. From its remarkable debut in the North American market the latest Priv managed to enter the European border with a bang too. Next on the Canada based company’s list was Italian market in which it made its debut in the present week. Since the android powered smartphone entered the Italian market, the customers will be able to buy the smartphone from the Canadian business’s online store or from its physical stores.

Initially, the Canadian based, android powered device arrived at Germany because of which the Italian customer was unable to buy the product from physical stores so they had to rely on third part retailers including Amazon and Euronics. Now they can buy from the stores in Italy it a retail price of $928.

The smartphone maker plans to make the device available on for its customers so that they can place an order from anywhere in the world easily. The cellphone has managed to gain popularity in the European market hence its plans on making it available in more countries in Europe. Since due to the Priv, the once popular company got a lot of attention in the past few months and reported better than expected earnings in the third quarter, so it decided to make the device available in over 31 countries.

In January, the novel devicewill hit the shelves of Saudia Arabia and United Arab Emirates as well. At this point, every day the smartphone business is announcing its launch in a new country. After the arrival of the iPhone and android based phone, Blackberry Ltd lost most of its market. By the year 2009, it was considered one of the top 100 fastest growing companies.

Initially, the chief executive officer of the multinational smartphone organization stated that if the new device and its smartphone fail to regain its share in the market and remain profitable it will discontinue making these products, exit the market and maintain its focus on other businesses. But thanks to Priv, there’s a chance John Chen might not go forth with this plan.

Turns out, leaving behind its own operating system was the best decision that the CEO made in a long time. With the android operating system and the organization’s top notch security encryption system, it was able to develop a top of the line product. Furthermore, it does not plan to stop at this; now its next step is to make android based phones to penetrate in the market and expand its Software and Services business as well.
